The Recess Supervisor posted a game last weekend whereby the denizens of the cheddarsphere can help Scott Walker with his "brown bag" campaign. You can visit his blog or Blogging Blue to download a canvas for your own creation.
Here's mine. I hereby grant permission to either the Barrett or Neumann campaigns to use it:

The state budget is already so ugly we should all be wearing a paper bag. Who is in charge? Oh...the Democrats. I doubt Walker can make it worse. Especially considering he is now running a surplus in the face of overwhelming Democrat we-can't-possibly-stop-spending opposition. Oh...and the only suffering you are hearing is from overpaid and underworked county employees. The taxpayers, OTOH are breathing a sigh of relief.
Jill....at least be intellectually honest here.
Surplus? What surplus? Milwaukee County has hundreds of millions of dollars worth of unpaid bills and debt. For anyone to say Walker gave us a surplus would be like a guy saying he saved $30 bucks by not changing the oil in his car, but now the engine is locked up.
Talk about the need to be intellectually honest. Sheesh.
Hey, Crapper...I'd expect a response like that from you.

All I know is what I read in the paper.
And that is apparently why you missed the $400 million in unfunded pension obligations, the $300 million in pension obligation bonds, the $283 million in deferred maintenance and repairs in the parks alone, the deferred maintenance and repairs for the rest of the infrastructure, and so on and so forth.
Considering I just listed nearly a billion dollars in just the first three items, I would say that $9 million is just a drop in the bucket.
Whatever. Knowing your contempt for all things Walker and your love of the corruptness of the Board, I'm sure you speak truth. I bow to your superior intellect because you're just so....gosh darn smart.
The budget shows a surplus. I don't know how you can dispute a F.A.C.T.
You're right, I can't fight facts. I can only present them.
All the links you would want are there.
Goodnight.
Deeka, so what's your opinion of Scott Walker borrowing $300 million dollars (money that will likely come due after Walker's left office) to cover the county's pension obligations?
