Says something about the quality of U.W. education. These kids could have gone anywhere, but they choose to go to U.W. And it was a great game to watch.
I'm not surprised to see second-generation players follow in their fathers' footsteps at UW. That's been happening with the hockey program for years, and I know that the UW is a great place to go to school. I'm just surprised to suddenly realize that the players I watched when I was in high school and college are old enough to have kids who are playing now.
Actually, some of the players were there when I went to college at U.W. But I went to school late in life (about 30 years old)
